The Australasian Particle Technology Society (APTS) was formed in 1998 and acts to disseminate information about advances in particle research to members.
Particle technology is used to manufacture particulate materials which include powders and bulk solids. This material is used by chemists, physicists, pharmacists and material designers across many industries including:
- pharmaceutical
- food processing
- cosmetic
- chemical
- oil
- cleaning
- mineral processing
- metallurgy.
The design, handling and processing of particulate materials is a precise science. Companies in any industry that use particle technology should have an in-house expert to manage design and handling.
To join the Australasian Particle Technology Society, login or create an account in our member portal. Once you’re logged in, click on the products and services tab then click Join on the Technical Society Membership tile and follow the prompts.
